Book Sculptures

Art Books / Book sculptures is an ongoing significant part of El Sadek's practice since 1997. She finds herself borrowing a lot of colors, textures, materials, etc from antiquity and the Egypt of her memory: "In a modest way, I like to think I’m contributing to a vernacular that’s been around for thousands of years."
